Fischer aneroid from Germany, with a 5.5" dial and a 5-cell movement is among the best of the aneroids available today. This instrument has an accuracy of better than +|-0.7 mb over its full working range of 890 to 1050 mb. Fischer aneroids have been used at sea for 60 years. Its double needle design removes parallax error.

Ventilated radiation shield 439102 | Edition 2009

Since April 2009 the new version of the artificial ventilated precipitation and radiation shield is available.
Now with significant improved product properties:

• new water- and dustproof fan (protection grade IP68)

Fischer automatic weather stations on the Kilimanjaro

In co-operation with the National Park Administration of the Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, supplied, installed and projected Fischer, at the beginning of the month, the first automatic weather station on the highest free standing mountain of the world. Further AWS for the National Park Administration were delivered in November 2008 and March 2009.
